Depth of cut .020” per side
Ran insert between .002” to .012” inch per revolution at 990 Surface feet per minute. Varied feed rate based on finish requirements. 20 RMS was achieved at the .002” inch per revolution.
All other competitors tested could not break a chip and the closest tool life to the TT5100 was a cermet. The cermet ran 30 parts and the TT5100 ran 90 parts!
