History

Kettle Moraine Tool Supply was established in 1974 by founder, Wayne Riekkoff. Based in Kewaskum, Wisconsin it was a 'one-man operation' until the company expanded in 1976 with a move to West Bend, Wisconsin and added a sales staff of 4 individuals.

In 1980 Kettle Moraine Tool Supply was incorporated and the name KM Tool Supply, Ltd. was born. A move to Butler, Wisconsin in 1982 resulted in even more growth. In 1992 Solution Tool a tool grinding operation was started and in 1994 purchased Carbide Tool Corporation. The two manufacturing companies merged together as Carbide Tools Mfg., Inc. In 1996 KM and Carbide Tools were moved to one location in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. In September 1999 both operations moved to a newly built facility in Menomonee Falls and still operate from this location.
